Arriving during Easter weekend, “Messiah” is one of the two tracks (the other being “Yaweh”) released by American vocalist Brandon Markell Holmes and Moroccan house music producer Cee ElAssaad. The trans-Atlantic collaboration was powered by toucan sounds.

A soulful, gospel-inspired house tune, “Messiah” is outright exultant. I like how Brandon’s moving vocals meld smoothly with Cee’s grooves.

With its heartfelt melodies, “Yaweh” is another amazing tune.
