Hailing from the Canadian city of Winnipeg are Jérémie & The Delicious Hounds.

Having engaged fans for the past few years with their brand of soul/funk, the outfit have just made their full length debut.

The album album is called Cruel and was released on 5th May alongside the official music video for the focus track, “We Haven’t Met Yet”. I really like this jam.

“We Haven’t Met Yet” captures that feeling of really wanting to impress someone, in this case, a girl lead singer Jérémie met at the library. The music video (see above) lightheartedly illustrates this.

Cruel is a great body of work. It was recorded with support from veteran producer Murray Pulver. Get to listen to the whole album.
