Out now, Heartbreakers Space Club is the sophomore album from New York soul/funk band Dakota Jones.

The LP was released on June 2, having been preceded by the single “Misbehave Me“. It arrived with the song “Countdown”, itself accompanied by a bright sunkissed visual directed by Rebecca Mendoza Mejia & Emmi Shockley.

Speaking on “Countdown”, frontwoman Tristan Carter Jones said, “This song and video mean a hell of a lot to me. This is my favorite song on the album. It’s a song about how love is bigger than everything, love conquers all the big bad feelings that come at you every day, it conquers all the big bad things around us. When you focus on love, things get a hell of a lot simpler.”

Dakota Jones released their debut album, Black Light, in 2021. This new album continues their alluring sound.
