Nashville-based Canadian country singer Shantaia released an album called Exes and Friends in February. Now, she shares the music video for “Damaged Goods”, one of the tracks on this LP. Other songs include “Broke To Brand New” and “Had a Good Weekend“, both of which have garnered huge numbers on streaming services.

“Damaged Goods” became particularly popular on TitkTok, informing the need to shoot a visual for it.

“This music video has to be the most fun video I’ve ever shot,” Shantaia reveals. “My manager, director and I all have a shared love of The Office, so we wanted to give this video that ‘documentary style’ real, humorous feel! I invite the camera crew the into our small town bar (Bobby’s Idle Hour, Nashville) and introduce them to the specific characters that we’re written into this song. We placed everyone in their roles so perfectly, and had a blast with it. ”
