Nordic artists make some of the catchiest pop song’s you’ll ever hear. Eager to keep that tradition alive is Danish newcomer beno who made his debut a couple of months ago with the song “somebody”.

The Aarhus native (birth-name Jens Skinbjerg) co-produced the track with Anders Bager, filling it will bright melodies that suit the heartfelt the lyrics. Speaking on it, he says “somebody” is about missing the one that got away and regretting past mistakes.

The artist credits musicians like Sam Tompkins, Lauv and Jon Bellion as some of his key influences. Listening to this song had me drawing parallels.
