Released a month ago, “Y’r Ghost” is Mobley‘s first new single in a long while. With this one, the indie singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist crafted a captivating tune that continues the concept and style of his 2022 EP, Cry Havoc!.

“‘Y’r Ghost’ marks the return of Jacob Creedmoor, the protagonist from Cry Havoc!,” Mobley shares, “It finds him reminiscing about the night he met the love of his life and mourning her loss and the fact that she’s fading from his memory. The song’s shifts in mood and energy mirror the turmoil of our lovelorn hero and the lyrics hint at a larger story still waiting to be told.“

The artist’s ability to move seamlessly from one style to another is exemplified by this track, where the change in tempo is both dramatic and gradual. “Y’r Ghost” is well written and beautifully arranged. Mobley wrote and produced this track himself.
