Regular Aipate readers probably know who Bronze Whale are; the US indie-electronic duo has featured in the platform a few times. But in a nutshell, Aaron Jaques (songwriter & producer) and Benny Alley (vocalist & producer) have entertained listeners for well over a decade now, switching to their current style in 2018, and releasing their first full-length project a year later.

“Keep Calling” is another mesmerizing track from the pair. With this one, they created a chill, downtempo dance-pop track with ruminating lyrics and expressive vocals.

“My partner and I had been doing lots of travel for work, and we were starting to feel like ships passing in the night. I had been thinking a lot about missed connections, and how important our proximity was at times,” Benny shares.
