UK indie duo TENDER recently announced their fourth studio album, Where The Waves Break, which is scheduled to drop on June 4. Alongside the news arrived “Heavy”, a single that sets the tone for the upcoming record.

Musically, “Heavy” typifies the band’s moody, atmospheric sound. With pensive lyrics and hazy vocals, it’s so hypnotising.

As TENDER explains, the song is about “having a crisis of identity when you’re in the prime of your life. 1st world problems. Wanting everyone to feel sorry for you when you have everything you need to be happy but refuse to be.”
