It’s hard to pin Lexi Faye‘s music down to a specific genre: the burgeoning American singer-songwriter combines various influences ranging from indie folk to pop and rock to create music that can be recognized by its emotional depth.

Her most recent single (and the second release of the year) is a moving piece called “I Know”. On it, Lexi captures the pain of watching someone you loved move on.

“‘I know’ is a song about betrayal and hurt from someone who you thought you
could trust,” Lexi shares. “It captures the feeling of someone telling you not to worry but then causing worry.“

Every time I hear a new song from Faye, I’m always amazed by the power of her voice. “I Know” is no different, and I bet it will have a similar effect on you.
