Nashville musician Steve Stout has just released a full-length project titled I Wanna Buy a Beach House. This is his third studio album and the first project that was fully created in his newly built recording studio.

“waitin on mine” is the song that brought my attention to the new album–it dropped on 24th July. The song feels warm and is characterized by a smoothy textured blend of rock, indie folk and Americana.

Speaking about this particualr song, Steve says:

“‘waitin on mine’ was written with M.C. Taylor of Hiss Golden Messenger. We hit it off right away and it was such a pleasure to get to write with an artist that I was a fan of and looked up to so much. Little bit of touring life energy to the verses and some truth from life of feeling like no matter how far you’ve come in your career or life path there can be those days still of just feeling like, man when am I gonna catch a break.“
