Following her “I.D.T.Y.L.M” single, Toronto singer-songwriter Gracie Ella returned with another sublime piece. It’s called “Pulling Me Away” and was paired with a stripped-back in-studio performance (see the video below).

A mellow, soulful indie-R&B tune with hints of jazz, “Pulling Me Away” blends pasionate lyrics and warm melodies. The song finds Gracie caught in a romantic dilemma; while she strongly wants to lean into her heart’s desires, past experiences are keeping her wary.
