Icelandic singer-songwriter Brynja Rán unveiled her debut EP, SEVEN, mid last year. And, as it turns out, the four tracks were but an appetizer for a full-length release that was to come.

Well, Brynja Rán is currently, in the middle of the album’s rollout. Called Cowboy Wannabe, that album is scheduled to drop soon.

Out now is the third single, “Don’t You Leave”. This is an indie pop/soul song about a relationship that’s slowly fading away.

“Don’t You Leave” is steeped in vulnerability, and Brynja can be heard pleading with the partner not to walk away. The soulful singer’s soulful voice comes alive on this raw, emotive track.
