After a hiatus that lasted about eight years, US singer Barth Beasley is back to releasing music. He recently delivered “I Used To Be”, a piano-driven soulful ballad that serves as the first single lifted from his forthcoming album.

Recorded together with award-winning producer Allan Phillips, the planned the album is titled Welcome To Studio B.

“‘I Used To Be’ is a song and music video that captures the relationship between two friends who never saw themselves as more than that,” Barth reveals.

“Music and life shared becomes an undeniable truth as they realize that they have always been there for each other. True love beginning as friends never stands on the sidelines. It will rise up, be born and won’t wait any longer, because two souls living their making in love cannot be denied.“
