Rising US pop singer-songwriter Cate Tomlinson did bare her soul on her new track, “twenty one”. The single arrived last Friday, just before her 22nd birthday.

“twenty one” is a vulnerable ballad she penned about losing herself in a past relationship. It’s a candid and relatable piece. The piano and guitar melodies help precipitate the cloud of emotion which engulfs the track.

“twenty one” follows Cate Tomlinson’s April 2022 single, “hurt you”.
