Malawian music has grown a lot in the last twenty years. The current crop of artists are beautifully blending local Malawian melodies with modern sounds. Of course, they are taking the mantle from their predecessors (Wambali Mkandawire, Erik Paliani, Real Elements, etc), some of whom made a mark globally.

With consumption now going online, there have arisen platforms like Malawi-music and Maluso Music which are helping the creatives sell their art. We have decided to mention, not rank, some of the notable musicians from this country also known as the Warm Heart of Africa.
