African boy band Sauti Sol have tapped Nyashinski for their latest single, “Tujiangalie”. The song serves as the sixth release off their forthcoming album, Afrikan Sauce and it is the second song they have done in collaboration with Nyashinski. Sauti Sol co-produced the track with MBOKs, who also mixed and mastered the record. The lyric video was directed by YNOT and SIR-NARE.
“Tujiangalie” loosely translates to ‘self reflection’ and the composition dives in to the current socio-political situation in the world, and Kenya in specific. It conspicuously comes on the memorial day of Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the country’s first president. Watch the lyric video below via YouTube.
