Dustin Bird has a new song, “Wake Up”. The country/pop song enables the 22-year-old, Canadian singer/songwriter to recruit the listener to a couple of minutes of singalong. Empowered by an ear-worm of a chorus and a grasping composition, “Wake Up” may just have you accustomed to the replay button. The self-written, self-produced song was mixed & mastered by F. Reid Shippen and Pete Lyman, both of whom have received Grammy awards.
Dustin knows no genre boundaries and I guess it’s such an audacity that has partly gotten him to perform at decorated festivals such as Boots and Hearts and Havelock Jamboree.
