Just coming off an impressive showcase at this year’s SXSW – where he was able to perform on NPR’s Tiny Desk, Radio Day stage, among others – steadily rising soul singer/songwriter Cautious Clay is now releasing his new EP, Table Of Context. Throughout the project’s six songs, the artist impresses the listener with his powerful voice and subtle lyrical delivery. “Sidewinder”, for example, is a beautiful composition that gets a befitting production, one that Clay has his input on. The other songs follow the same template: thoughtful lyrics, soulful vocals and a beautiful soundscape.
