For about 6 years, Aria Ohlsson has been covering popular songs and posting clips on YouTube while progressively honing her craft. And although this seems to be the perfect template for singer-songwriter success, not all have been able to graduate into writing and performing their own songs. For Aria, the determination has been evident and today we can share the 21-year-old, Toronto-born, Canadian artist’s debut single, the self-written “Heaven”. Produced by Mark Pelli, the melancholia-imbued song is gripping and heart-wrenching, both lyrically and vocally. Arriving in time for ‘Mother’s Day’, this piece is dedicated to her late mother.
