Toronto-born, Los Angeles-based artist and producer Curtacy recently teamed up with Congolese singer Zaena on a song titled “Oh Yea”. Carrying an additive and vocally enchanting chorus by Zaena and Curtacy’s genre-bending production, the melodic track is able to attract a wider appeal. “Oh Yea” infuses and island flavour and a rhythmic feel, making it a possible hit with urban-dance fans.
Curtacy, who is of South Asian origin, draws influences from artists like Drake, The Weeknd, Kanye West, and producers like Daft Punk, Timbaland and Pharrell. He started making beats at just 13 and, only a short while later, he ventured into songwriting.
