Musically, Nairobi has always been a melting pot of different cultures and sounds and so it’s not much surprising to find a hard rock/metal band boldly launching their career in the East-African city.
Straight Line Connection is a new trio fronted by Gun. The band also includes musicians Reuben and Zo and as a group, they channel inspirations from the likes of Tool, Rage against the machine, System of a down among others. The outfit has just released their 10-track debut album Spaceless. This compilation includes their first ever single, “Fight And Reconcile” (whose music video is posted above).
After being hosted on The Fuse, a radio show on Nairobi’s Capital FM, Straight Line Connection will be launching the album on 17th August at a live show.
