With “Don’t Got Time”, 19-year-old emerging singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ella Blicker penned a piece about her first experience with heartbreak, highlighting the occasionally condemned fate of teenage romance. Although delivered in soft and delicate vocals, the song replaces the vulnerable predisposition with a more solid resolve to move on. Moreover, its soulful and jazzy tune is a suitable set-up for Ella’s beautiful and moving delivery. It’s interesting to note that, as a contribution to the track’s instrumentation, Ella (IG @ellablickermusic) played the guitar, piano and violin.
“I wrote this song after experiencing my first heartbreak. Even though I ended things, I was still dwelling on the past. Through this song, I kind of convinced myself that it was time to move on.”
