Here is Aipate team’s selection of some exciting new urban/dance releases.

Emmzi x King Joe – “Psycho Drama”

Immediately after releasing his first official single titled “Queen”, Emmzi‘s career took off. The artist has just returned with a new track “Psycho Drama” and this one found him collaborating with King Joe. With “Psycho Drama”, the two Irish artists have crafted an exciting and catchy Afro-swing tune. Emmzi makes music which is an eclectic blend of dancehall, R&B, and Afrobeat — and this record fits right into that sound.

Flavia Abadía – “Vete”

“Vete” is the latest release from Flavia Abadía, who is a Toronto-based French-Canadian artist with Colombian roots. This one was made after the singer visited Columbia. It imbues ecstatic tropical ‘champeta’ vibes. This is only her second piece sung fully in Spanish — she usually infuses English. “Vete” is created for that happy mood when dancing is the only thing express that feeling.

LATENIGHTJIGGY – “Mimosas”

US-born, Trinidadian artist/producer LATENIGHTJIGGY has something fresh for contemporary R&B/hip-hop fans. “Mimosas” carries his signature style of Latin, Afro and Caribbean infused sounds.
