Viviana is a singer/songwriter based in Houston, Texas but with roots in Mexico and Venezuela. Her debut project was the 2019 album I Mean What I Say, a marvelously crafted 8-track project. Well, the Berklee College of Music songwriting student returns with yet another beautiful piece. “Explosions” is an indie folk song with emotionally potent lyrics and affecting vocals.
“This song was inspired by the anxiety that someone can feel during the nigh time. It was inspired by my sister, because she gets scared of fireworks and I always have to comfort me. It got me thinking, wow sometimes we are scared of something that can’t hurt us. The only thing that can really hurt is in these situations are ourselves.”Viviana
