“Knew You” is another bewitching piece from Arizona-born Phoenix-based alt-pop songstress Kailee Morgue. Produced by Heavy and released via Republic Records, it arrives as her latest single. “Knew You” is probably her first proper love song and a deviation from her darker themes like that of 2018’s “Siren“.

This new release, in that sense, reminds us of her artistic versatility. About it, she remarks: “I’ve finally allowed myself to start writing love songs and about relationships. I never indulged in this style before. I’d just gotten into a relationship where I was constantly writing about love and that dynamic. I was super playful, but honest. I’m being really open.”

20-year-old Kailee plans to drop other singles soon.
