The Relevant Elephants is a rock music trio consisting of Drew Lucas (vocals/lead guitar), Zack Hankins on (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Adam Khalil (bass). Although formed in Boston about a decade ago, the band is currently based out of Los Angeles. Having released their full length debut album Paper Walls in 2016, The Relevant Elephants have just shared their sophomore release. Titled Major Plastic Sabotage, it arrived on yesterday, April 19.
“Ready”, one of the singles on the albu, is highlighted above. It’s a catchy pop-rock tune with endearing vocals and an addictive chorus.
“‘Ready’ was written to be a fun, inspiring song about self improvement. Simply realizing your mistakes, thinking that maybe you could’ve made better choices in the past, but today is a new day to get better. It’s a reminder to focus on what’s truly important to you.“
