Canadian singer/songwriter Elise LeGrow has unveiled “Evan”, a powerful new song that she wrote as a tribute to a friend was killed a decade ago. Considering the heartbreaking fact that his murder is yet to be solved, it is a loss that the singer is still reeling from 12 years later. That wave of emotions seeps into her psyche as she delivers a pensive soul ballad that will resonate with anyone who’s dealt with grief before.

“Evan” (which was produced by Angelo Petraglia) is the first official leak off of Elise’s upcoming sophomore album; her 2018 full-length debut, Playing Chess, consolidated her place among this generation’s top singers.
