SHY Martin‘s new EP, Sad Songs is not your typical sad-girl pop. The 5-song collection not only sees the Swedish singer and songwriter sharing heart-wrenching love tales but also delves into her struggles with anxiety and depression. Song after another, the Stockholm-based artist, shares deeply personal experiences.

The production on this project is typically sharp, with the overall sound better described as elecronic-flavoured indie-pop. The EP includes previously released singles “Slow” and “Can I call you back” and the newly released “Are you happy?” (whose music video is highlighted above).
