The Savants Of Soul unveil new song, “Deliverance”

With the addition of another single, The Savants Of Soul‘s forthcoming self-titled album is slowly taking shape. This latest one is titled “Deliverance” and comes after the Gainesville-based 9-piece band had engaged us with the song, “More Than One To Choose From”. Like the previous release, this track exhibits the outfit’s retro-soul style.

The Savants Of Soul (the album) was recorded in about 10 days at the prestigious FAME Studios. It is scheduled for a September 18 release.

The LP saw them work with producer Vince Chiarito and engineer John Gifford III.

Itself, the band consists of John Gray Shermyen (Bass), Justin McKenzie (vocals), Will Campbell (guitar), Zack Emerson (keyboards), Mandy Ferwerda (trumpet, vocals), Jacob Armstrong (trombone), Jordan Jones (tenor saxophone), Ray Vigil (baritone sax) and Benny Cannon (drums).
