ARI engages fans with “Kiss Me, Kill Me” EP

Toronto-based dark-pop princess ARI‘s new EP Kiss Me, Kill Me is finally out. Three tracks long (including the title-track and the previously released single, “Murderer“), the project was released on October 30 — just in time for the Halloween celebrations.

Each of its songs is crafted to fit into the EP’s theme of exploring lust, love, pain and heartbreak from a darker perspective. 21-year-old ARI uses her past relationships to dive into these complex emotions. Delivering them over gripping electro-pop soundscapes, the young Canadian paints a vivid picture of beautiful chaos.

“I’ve been so excited for this EP ever since the idea was conceived. I’m a huge Halloween fanatic, so finally releasing this is a perfectly splendid nightmare. I love all things creepy and sinister, and I wanted to experiment with music that allowed me to escape into a dark fantasy world. This EP is for the little Halloween-obsessed ARI who dreamed of having her very own spooky songs out in the world. I think she would be proud.”
