After a couple of years playing small gigs within the UK and winning the hearts of fans in the process, London-born Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Alex Crittenden seems to be casting his net wider. Plus, he’s getting better at his craft. Case in point is his latest single, “Profound”.

This is an infectious, funky and rhythm-heavy indie-rock anthem that will get the listeners on their feet while also plucking at their heartstrings a bit. From the bittersweet lyrics to the emotive vocals, “Profound” was aptly titled, for sure. Prepare to sing along while grooving to the song.
