Emerging singer-songwriter JESSIA is lighting up 2021 with her new single, “I’m not Pretty”. The bubbly pop song is not only infectious but also an empowering body-positive anthem. It’s about confronting one’s insecurities, with the Vancouver-based artist not allowing perceptions (including her own) about her image bring her down.

JESSIA has since accompanied the song with a playful music video. About the clip (which has since surpassed 2 million views), she says: “Filming the music video was such a surreal experience. I kept looking around set and asking myself, ‘are all of these people here for me and my song? What? Am I really here right now?’ What a time. It was such a party on set! SUCH A BLAST!“
