Vancouver artist Bukola‘s debut EP, Chronicles of a Teenage Mind, is out. This collection of R&B tracks, 8 to be specific, details the singer-songwriter’s experiences growing up. On “I Am Enough”, for example, she empowers herself while expressing gratitude to those who helped build her confidence. She notes, “The song talks about my journey growing up as a young black woman and some of my struggles. It also shows gratitude to my favourite Black female artists, who have helped me gain confidence with my skin“.
Other songs on the EP include “Home” and “Falling Deeper”, whose accompanying video is highlighted above. Stream the entire EP below + connect with Bukola on Instagram.
