Dutch indie-pop singer/songwriter Sophie van Hasselt did return with her newest single, “EaT mY bRaiN” — and I love the record. It’s a lighthearted song that pokes fun at the angsty life of a typical twenty-something-year-old, especially, in this age of social media validation. This is best captured by her line: Seventeen and famous, or am I just living in my daydreams?.
