From the assertive lyrics to Amarachi‘s powerful delivery, the Nigerian singer’s new ballad “This is How” is outright magnificent. The stirring soul-pop song was even featured on the MTV show, The Hills: New Beginnings.

“This is How” is quite thought-provoking, with Amarachi noting: “It’s an optimistic song about individuals having the power to control the ending of their story.”

She (Amarachi Onyeise) co-wrote it with Fiona Reid. The track was produced by Mike and Nick Squillante of the New York band, Running Lights.
