Brooklyn, New York-based band Dakota Jones released their debut album Black Light on August 27th. It caries 11 tracks of soulful tracks that define the outfit’s blues rock style.

The title-track, “Blacklight”, is sexy and funky. About it, frontwoman and singer-songwriter Tristan Carter-Jones says: “‘Black Light’ is seeing someone across a steamy room on a hot Friday night. All you need to see are their lips in the crowd to know you found your person for the evening. Why don’t you and I get into some trouble tonight?“
