Wynona return with relatable song, “Real World”

Founded in Osaka, Japan but currently based in the UK, Wynona is a new indie-pop band who made their debut back in June. The song “Get Back To Myself” introduced us to their guitar driven style. Wynona’s second, “Real World”, is another splendid effort.

Produced in collaboration with Lachlan West, “Real World” is a mellifluous pop rock track with thoughtful lyrics. The song is an anthem for those who feel like they don’t fit into any perfect mould.

It began life whilst we were stranded for a month in a 19th century, country house manor hotel in the Lake District. Looking out over the snow-covered hills that surrounded us, and wondering the empty hotel at night, it really felt like something from The Shining. We had little on us, other than a change of clothes, a guitar and there was an antique grand piano in the hotel’s music room.
