Stream El Train’s new album, And Then We Woke Up

On November 2, British-Zimbabwean producer El Train unveiled his sophomore album, And Then We Woke Up. This is the followup to his brilliant, 2019 debut, Puzzles.

And Then We Woke Up is 13 tracks of beautiful soul music. Featured on it are a host of artists including FLISS, Kaisha and NDO.

Lead single “Feeling Blue” saw El Train team up singer Byulah and talented trumpeter Jackson Mathod. “I’d been in contact with Byulah for a while after hearing her track ‘2’ with Mom Tudie and I thought this instrumental would work perfectly with her voice. I sent it over. I had called it ‘Feeling Blue’ before there were any vocals and I think that inspired the song as a whole,” the producer reveals about how the collaboration materialized.

The new album is, in deed, a magnificent body of work. Listen to it and follow EL Train on Instagram.
