Ahead of his upcoming EP titled Stranger in My Hometown, New York indie pop singer-songwriter Local Nomad (birth-name Michael Desmond) shared a new single. The track is called “Like a Child”. It’s a synth-pop track with super smooth melodies and a soaring chorus.

Sonically, “Like a Child” has that alluring vintage feel. It gets the listener to appreciate Desmond’s songwriting and penchant for creating arresting hooks.
