That explains why the sensational singer-songwriter’s debut EP, a study of the human experience volume one, was highly anticipated.

Out now, the EP was released via Atlantic Records/Arthouse Records and, with it, came the music video for “luv starved”, a song in which GAYLE ponders whether love is worth the risk.

About the exceptional EP, the artist reveals, “a study of the human experience volume one is about my life experiences and the experiences of those i collaborated with on this project. for me, growing up is all about making mistakes and learning from them. it just sucks sometimes that i have to make so many to learn.”
