Austin, Texas-based indie-folk duo (and life partners) Beth // James have a moving new song they called “Voicemails”. This is the follow-up to their “Boy Genius” single.

“Voicemails” is an honest and emotional piece that Beth wrote as a tribute to her late father. It was inspired by a saved voicemail from him. “I listened to it once and then this song happened. It’s such a beautiful thing to be able to have those mementos and hear your loved one’s voice when you really need it,” she says.

Her solemn delivery drives this song into the listener’s heart.
