It was in early 2020, a time when the world was dealing with a global pandemic, that Young Saab became active. The project proceeded to record songs remotely with some amazing artists. These releases culminated in a mixtape titled Young Saab Stories Vol. 1.

For the forthcoming second effort, Young Saab has had the luxury of making music with the artists in the same room. The first single “DAY N NIGHT” features 20-year-old rising Houston singer-songwriter Blessing.

“DAY N NIGHT” is an alt-R&B track whose instrumentation melds hip hop beats with pop melodies.

Speaking about the lyrics, Blessing divulged: “I was inspired by a feeling of trying your hardest to make the best out of the worst situation. You know someone hurt you, but you’re trying your best to play it off and be happy for them.”
