It’s been nothing short of a meteoric rise for Boston-raised singer/rapper Layto. Since the release of his debut EP in 2018, he has delivered great songs that have raked in millions of streams.
The alt-pop artist has dropped a new EP titled ARRIVED. Six tracks long, this project was released alongside the track and video, “MY HEAD”.
Speaking about this particular song, Layto said that “‘MY HEAD’ is a conversation with inner doubt and how I combat it. The music video depicts me in the boxing ring fighting different versions of myself who represent the voices in my head who cause doubt.“
It was written alongside Jordan Frye. The production melds a pop rock sound with heavy-hitting 808s, with result being so refreshing.
