Finally, here is Allison Leah‘s debut EP, the weight of my heart. This 6-song collection was released together with the single “constellations”. the weight of my heart had been preceded with singles such as “what i’m missing” and “sorry for myself“.
Wholly, the EP is an exhibition of the Nashville singer-songwriter’s beautiful sonic palette. Her music involves varying hues of folk-pop.
Speaking about the song “constellations”, Leah explains, “I wrote this song about being far from the people you love as a reminder that (no) matter how far you are from someone, you can look up to the same sky. I purposefully created haunting, ethereal production to highlight the sounds of the earth. Perfect soundtrack for people in long distance relationships, people who have lost loved ones, or people who yearn for love.“
