Jake Huffman returns with rapturous anthem, “Babe”

Born and raised on Connecticut, Jake Huffman has been making music from a young age. At 14, him and his band McLovins achieved virality with their cover of Phish’s “You Enjoy Myself”.

Over the years, the American vocalist and multi-instrumentalist has been honing his craft and, now, releases music through his solo project.

Jake’s newest offering is a rapturous indie-pop song called “Babe”. This song has a contagious feel-good vibe.

Something about the bass lines and the hard hitting syncopation really hit the spot. I wanted to capture that vibe and put my own spin on the genre. What’s cool and different about this track is how haunted and dark it feels. I think I captured an 80s sci-fi horror mixed into a twisted fantasy like day dream,” the musician shares.

The follow-up to “Martyr”, this tune is lifted from his upcoming EP.
