New Jersey based producer NIO continues to push the envelop with his new ‘space bass’ sound. Melding future bass with trance elements, the sound is cinematic and melodic. It is embodied by NIO’s new single “Horizon”.
Out via Proximity, “Horizon” features powerful vocals by Casey Cook. Lyrically, the song juxtaposes the feeling of hope for the future with the pain of having to leave the comfort of what’s already familiar. It’s quite stirring.
