Up-and-coming Los Angeles artist Lou Emery returned to our stereos the other week with a new song, “Roots”. The pop punk track serves as the third single off of her upcoming debut EP and it’s the follow-up to “Wish“.

“Roots” shows a gritter, edgier side of Emery’s sound. Its catchy guitar riffs and melodic vocals are particularly captivating. I’ve really enjoyed listening to this tune on repeat.
