Burgeoning singer-songwriter Kaiya Gamble is one you should get to know. The talented 16-year-old delivered an emotionally rousing song called “Polaroid” a fortnight ago.

On it, she takes us through the pain of gradually losing connection with a person you love. Accompanied by Nelson Jackson III on piano, Kaiya got to showcase her raw vocals.

“Polaroids” is heart-gripping and haunting but, for Kaiya Gamble, cathartic.
