At last, Berlin-based indie-R&B artist Ay Wing got to unveil her Poison Ivy EP. She began teasing the project last year, dropping bops like “Sugar Rush” and “Spacewalker”.

The EP arrived with the title-track last Friday. “Poison Ivy” is a nostalgic and addictive tune packed with infectious bass grooves and hooky guitar riffs. An intoxicating fusion of styles characterize the song’s production — and Ay Wing’s style in general.

This EP is deeply personal, where I expresses raw, unfiltered emotions and my true self in the moment. Healing poured out like a stream of consciousness—vulnerable, real, and as honest as open-heart surgery,” says the Swiss-born singer.

Ay has been supplying us with some awesome tunes in the last few years, her Chuuwee and Shuko-assisted song, “Orange Dreamer“, being one of the standouts.

This 5-song EP is such a vibe. Listen to the entire Poison Ivy on Spotify and, remember to keep up with Ay Wing on Instagram or FB.
