Synth pop collides with indie pop on Mindy Gledhill‘s second single of 2025, “Prismatic”.

The upbeat and glittering song serves as a portal into the 80’s dancefloor, an invitation to have have fun while revelling in nostalgia. It was inspired by the American singer-songwriter’s teenage years living in Spain and attending discos.

She explains, “I felt like I could be free and just let go, exuberantly expressing myself through dancing. The song is kind of a memoir of that time.”
